Hello everyone. My name is Pedro Henrique Brossi Ligere, but the most part of people call me Pedrão and others call me only Pedro. I'm 23 years old and my birthday is on November 19th. I'm Brazilian and my hometown is Campo Grande, located in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul at Brazil's midwest region. However, I live in São Bernardo do Campo, a city located in São Paulo, Brazil's southeast region. I am an only child and I live with my parents there.
I am studying Control and Automation Engineering and Energy Engineering at the same time. These majors have some courses related with each other, then it's convenient study these two kinds of Engineering. My university is Universidade Federal do ABC, which is called UFABC, and it's located in Santo André at ABC Great Region, a big region that is known as an industrial polo in the state of São Paulo.
In Brazil I have worked for Alstom Grid, a French company, as an intern for six months in 2012. I worked there in the department of High Voltage Substations and this job was strictly related with Electrical Engineering. After this job, I worked for Ford Motor Company as an intern too for sixteen months from 2012 to 2014. There I worked in Truck Manufaturing Engineering department at São Bernardo plant and I needed to develop activities related with Mechanical Engineering and Statistics mainly.
So, I'm here in the United States attending an exchange program. My goals here are improving my English, knowing a new culture and new people and studying Engineering courses at Cal State Fullerton.
